Why wouldn't we pray for a good harvest?! Or for the strength to endure the hard work of planting and taking care of the earth?! and to have love for the earth, because expressing our love to the things we do, makes it better. Why not pray for determination and discipline?! Lets not forget those who work very hard each day to have food in their tables,
nor those who give a little piece of themselves in their daily lifes so that food might exist. We are so used to see all kinds of food in the supermarkets, so easy to obtain, that it just seems it pops out of the ground or falls from the sky. We easily forget the gifts of the earth, which gives us everyting we need, if we weren't so greedy.

Hoje em dia já nem se sabe o que é uma colheita,é raro termos acesso a productos naturais e de colheitas normais sem aditivos e porcarias do género...se as pessoas com quintal produzissem um pouco para proveito proprio e reduzissem nas carnes já não viam os supermercados da mesma maneira e depressa se apercebiam da enorme falta de qualidade dos legumes e vegetais que por lá sem compram.
Devemos dar graças por termos o que temos é verdade, muita gente tem tudo de mão beijada e habitua-se a achar que é garantido, depois quando perdem tudo não se sabem orientar.
É o mal das novas gerações, estão demasiado habituados a abrir a boca e terem tudo o que querem que crescem a achar é de direito deles terem tudo sem o minimo esforço, crescem sem objectivos e mesmo quando os têm nunca se esforçam por eles...desistem ao minimo contratempo.
