Oh i see, you prefer the traditional kind of art that as made before the XIX and XX centuries, me too, although i know the importance that the "new" types of art in the XX century had after the first world war, the creation of new things, the evolution of art and its meaning, but still i prefer the old traditional kind of art as well. Now.. about free will and predestination, i could write in here a huge text but i will try to summarize it. In my opinion, we are free to shape our own destiny, our lifes, no one, not even a deity does that for us, they might help us with many things, but when it comes to life it self, we make our own choices, we take our own paths, and depending in which choices we make, life takes that course, because a certain god or goddess making our own choices would be unfair to so many people, one person would have good things in his/her life but not because he/she made something, but because the person has the favour of a deity or someother higher spiritual force, and others don't have that luck, or someone could get a lot of bad things, which would be unfair also. In my point of view, we have always bad things and good things, depending on our choises, because we can't be always happy, not can we be always sad, we have to taste both sides in order to give the proper value of things. However, i do believe that certain things in our lifes must occur, some things might be predestined, a problem, difficulty, a battle that we must wage, a problem to solve, trials that we must face so we might grow, evolve, become better, and in those times freewill comes again, there won't be any deity to help us passing through those trial, we must face it alone or with the help of friends, but we must face it making our own choices, with our strength and wisdom, depeding on the choices we make, we will prove to ourselves, to our family and friend and to the gods and other spirits that we are strong and we are worthy. So yes.. i do believe in both things, they are connected with eachother, but freewill is above all else, the gods might have plans for us, but in the end, it all depends in the choices we make.

What do you think?

Yes I prefer the traditional kind of art,but dous not mean I question or put down
like u said- the importance that the "new" types of art...never,I like also some of the early 20th century Classic Fairy Tales (The Golden Age of Illustration). My fav.is
Gustav Dore-I’m sure u know him. [link]
Now about free will VS predestination.i'm not follower of John Calvin, but yes i think
that predestination is 80% and 20% free will.....is complicated must explain another time, why i think so....bye
