A Yule gift to my girlfriend, for she is very fond of this goddess, particularly the meaning of the name which was given to a very special dog she had.
This was the first painting I created with a female figure.
Diana is the Roman goddess of hunt, the woodland, moon and birth. She is the romanized aspect of the Greek goddess Artemis, however, Diana's cult was more widely spread than the cult of Artemis.
